WITCH has explored a variety of Y2K "girly" fashion trends. Guardian forms are a unique take on the "fairy" styles from back then. Like the little statuettes with the striped socks that every goth had. WITCH got me interested in fashion. It got me passionate enough to learn. But ultimately fashion is subjective. Whatever designs Enny makes are going to reflect her experiences in some way. Whatever the design, it's going to be "WITCH" and it's going to be "Enny." This is very clearly her labor of love and I'm excited to see it.

    In direct response to Labreea:
For future reposts please simply link the post and add a small summary. Otherwise this comment section will explode with the amount of text. Thank you!

As for your critique on the new power outfits: I absolutely agree. I am not much of a fan of these myself which is one of the main drivers why I decided to come up with a new set of transformations for the girls which I personally like that has more of a magical flair instead of gymnastic suits. While I cannot promise anything, maybe you will like them better? We will see. There are two more comic pages before the big reveal so it's a little wait.

    Thanks for sharing your opinion!
(Again though: Please link longer texts or use this community comment section. There's more room for longer texts here) :D

Repost, but it is such an accurate repost it is not make any sense. Thank you so much for reviving this but please fix these issues because what are you guys doing? Literally just do a pole with people of color on any social media platform or just talk to a single person of color when you do Taranee’s redesign because she looks absolutely ridiculous and she always has.

Honestly, I find the new power outfits hit or miss. This may just be nostalgia talking, but there's a lot of changes that are less appealing to me or just seem pointless.

Will: I think she has the best changes, it's reminiscent of the old one but with more of an athletic vibe. It seems like it suits her better than the mini skirt she used to have and I prefer it to the original.

Irma: I hate this one, I think it's the worst of them. The long hair is just weird to me, it looks tacked on like bad hair extensions and doesn't especially suit her. The waistline of her outfit is very unflattering and the neckline is so boring. I see why they wanted to change the mini skirt (what was with all the mini skirts?) but they changed a boat neck top with interesting hem details into a tank top with a drop waist wrap skirt. It's hideous.

Taranee: Almost feels like they couldn't be bothered to rethink an outfit for her. It's basically the same but they got rid of the power shoulders and the neck design! Why?! Now it's just a plain high neck crop top! And I like the long dreads, but it doesn't feel like they match the hair on top of her head. Like they just took her old hair and slapped dreads on the bottom. It could be a hairstyle I've just not seen before, but that's what it looks like to me.

Cornelia: Second worst. I don't really like that's she's covered from neck to toe. Maybe they thought the old exposed navel design was a bit obscene, I get it, but I feel like there must have been a better way to combat that. Maybe keep the old bardot neckline that really suited her feminine style of dress and have it extend into the skirt. And what's with her fingers being covered? It just looks like she's naked with her torso painted blue. They weren't afraid to slap unnecessary fingerless black gloves on the others, so just give a non-fingerless pair to Cornelia if you hate looking at her phalanges so much.

Hay Lin: Not a bad change, it feels like it's in keeping with the aesthetic vibe of the original, but I think the tons of added string wraps perhaps overcomplicated the outfit and I liked the sleeve and neck design of the old top more. Maybe they wanted to cover up her midriff a bit more, but then why is the skirt slit high enough to show her butt?! She's the one who can fly, so why is she the only girl who has visibly bare thighs? Let the poor thing have full leggings or some shorts under that flimsy skirt, my goodness.

In summary: I really don't understand some of the changes, they decided to cover up some of the girls more but leave others just as exposed as their old costumes. They removed a lot of interesting design features like the swirling parts of the clothing or more visually appealing clothing cuts and I don't think it's an across the board improvement. If I go from best to worst in my opinion, it goes Will, Hay Lin, Taranee, Cornelia, Irma.

Also, not a fan of the symbols on the front, feels almost like the kandrakar equivalent of having a t-shirt with your own name on it.

Edit: Just to shoutout a great artist, a redesign I like a lot more is by minemikomali on deviantart, their reinterpretation is very creative.

Hi Angela. Not yet, no. The final part is being released this Halloween. After that I will work on one paper back book including all three digital story parts.

    Hi Meeris,
Yes, some of the new characters are homo- or bisexual and this will be thematized one way or another over the course of the comics and accompanying short novels. However it's not going to be a major focus, simply because I won't have much "time" to touch on any type of love relationships beside the main story. It also did cross my mind to pair Irma with Mariko from the original comics who lost her boyfriend rather tragically. I still think they make a cute bi-couple but (at least for now) I decided against this option.

Since you're the third person to ask me about this, I took the liberty to add your question to the FAQ section ;)

Hi, I wanted to ask - do you plan to have a queer representation (especially relationships) in your comics?

Hey and sorry for the late reply. Sovereigns is still in progress and sadly takes a while to produce since I can only work on the comic on weekends (have a ful-time job under the week). The plan is though to get it printes at some point in the future.
