I thought it was time for a bigger update with more details on what's going on with the project and me as a person and all that! I will try to do this more often in the future too to enforce that this is meant to be the main place for info and art related to the project. So let's make a little deep dive into my artistic brain and tell you a bit more about recent developments! First of all, let's peak behind the curtain of how I do comic pages, shall we? Here's a WIP of the last comic page. I...
No, these two are not the mystery rider, as you might know if you've read the latest comic page. But I just had to draw them. When people guessed these two my fantasy just went wild and I HAD to give it a go ha ha! Would've been so much fun if it had been one of these girls! But alas. It was Martin! Also something most of you didn't expect. Now to October! I'm trying to keep commissions low and and - besides starting work on page 12 - will participate in WITCHtober AND am planning to release a...
The new page is uploaded! YEAH! I hope you guys like it. Some more every-day-life stuff for the girls before we dive back into magic and adventure. Lots of complementary contrasts on this one... Soemthing you've been working on for so long and then it's really finished and you can't believe it because it took so long and there HAS to be something that needs fixing... but NO! It's actually finished! I'm...
Hey there folks! So after finally finishing page 8 of the comic, I sketched the next page but also decided to delve a bit into the designs of canon characters some more. So here's Lilian in her 11-year old form for the comic. In the original she's somewhere between 5-7 and a true brat with a fable for magic. But she and Cornelia get along really well. In my version... well, you can see that she's probably already hitting puberty and hence there's some new stuff for the siblings to tackle. Of...
Geeeeeez I'm finally done... Just finished the next page for the prologue and I can tell you it wasn't easy! I had a lot of difficulties getting the page to work all-over. I usually look at each panel separately. The panel positioning works alright but getting the right colour scheme for the entire page if the panels show so many different scenes... that's NOT EASY! AT ALL!! Also I had to adjust it a little so it fits to the first comic page from the style and then I had the problem of making...
