I thought it was time for a bigger update with more details on what's going on with the project and me as a person and all that! I will try to do this more often in the future too to enforce that this is meant to be the main place for info and art related to the project. So let's make a little deep dive into my artistic brain and tell you a bit more about recent developments! First of all, let's peak behind the curtain of how I do comic pages, shall we? Here's a WIP of the last comic page. I...

The new page is uploaded! YEAH! I hope you guys like it. Some more every-day-life stuff for the girls before we dive back into magic and adventure. Lots of complementary contrasts on this one... It's funny that whenever I finish a page it feels like this huuuge project suddenly is done. Soemthing you've been working on for so long and then it's really finished and you can't believe it because it took so long and there HAS to be something that needs fixing... but NO! It's actually finished! I'm...

Hey there folks! It's weekend again so that means I got some time for the comic! Wheheee! Here's a pic of the progress of the last panel. Irma's lineart is already finished but the motorcycle dude is only a sketch as you can see. I need to clean that at least a little bit and add a few minor details for the surroundings. Since he's not supposed to jump out too much though I will keep him a little rough. So yeah... Irma's running haha! Question is why? Got any ideas? I'm pretty happy about this...

As you might have noticed due to my lack of updates, my vacation was over (far to quickly in my opinion) and I'm back to work. On the right you can see a quick draft I did for a challenge at work. I like the cat the most haha! To wrap up the lineart and start a tiny bit on colouring, I'll use tomorrow, since it's a holiday here. I will then give you another update on how things went and how far I've gotten. Recently I tried out my new software for colouring as well and it was pretty simple. So...

Check out the new comic page here! Took me forever! Partially because last year I was suddenly so busy with private life stuff and work and this year I was learning a lot about comics and hence needed to adjust around this page until I was somewhat satisfied. I think it's okay now. It's not my best work or comic page but that's okay. It works and I hope you guys will have fun reading it. And well, I did learn a lot making it, that's also great, right? So anyway, I'll make a short break this...

I was lacking motivation lately to continue with the comic and I couldn't really define why. I thought I had worked on it too long and that the project didn't appeal to me any more but then again I loved coming up with new designs and thinking about characters or little ideas I could include so that clearly couldn't be it. So today I sat there in front of my computer and lamely coloured out the third Irma. I was sticking to basic colouring, instead of adding shading right away because I thought...

Just an update of things for your information: I found a good job that I'll be starting with next week already so things will probably stay a bit slower while I get to know everyone there and my tasks and settle in. But I'm still making some progress as you can see on the left. A little sketch of Irma's morning routine, brushing her teeth. Sorry for the long wait, and thanks so much for all your support and understanding! I'll post some snippets and things here to keep you entertained until I...

Geeeeeez I'm finally done... Just finished the next page for the prologue and I can tell you it wasn't easy! I had a lot of difficulties getting the page to work all-over. I usually look at each panel separately. The panel positioning works alright but getting the right colour scheme for the entire page if the panels show so many different scenes... that's NOT EASY! AT ALL!! Also I had to adjust it a little so it fits to the first comic page from the style and then I had the problem of making...
